Random September updates

 Most importantly, Will's mission papers are in to church headquarters as of 9/23. Now we wait. 

Ginny has been dating a guy, Sterling Hammond, for a couple months now. I think they started talking in July and had their first date towards the end of July. I think they have seen each other every weekend since except for the weekend we went to Dallas. 

The primary program was cute. Afterwards the bishopric spent most of second hour with the primary kids playing a game of guess which bishopric member and if the kid got it right, they were able to cut a piece of the tie. 

We received this text and pictures that evening after the program: "I couldn't help but take a few photos throughout the program today of you two sitting up there together. You looked so happy and like a mother and father surrounded by so many children sitting in the middle of everyone like that. I loved seeing it." When I looked closer at them, you could see the joy on Jake's face.  He loves big. 

Fun Fact...Aubs is 22

 Today our favorite red head turns 22. Aubree seeks to strengthen her relationship with the Savior daily.  She is very deliberate in helping others feel genuinely welcome and included.  She shares her musical talents with others and seeks to lift others.  Aubree loves to see others happy from baking them a treat to sitting and chatting, even though she is exhausted and may have an early day the next day.  She is a disciple.

Another edifying Sunday

This past Sunday was one I hope to remember as well as it was a wonderful day. The youth did the program for sacrament and the musical selections were beautiful. Will had a solo part in "Peace in Christ" and it may the best he has ever sounded.  Following the block of meetings, we had an Italian Linger Longer, with about 175 in attendance, and then Will met with the Bishop about it his mission papers.  How I wish I could've been a fly on that wall because Jake told me on the way home, it was the first mission interview he was emotion and teary eyed.  I am not sure if it is because it is his son or if was spiritual but I like to think it is a combination of both. He has an appointment with the stake president in a couple of weeks. I know I have prayed for Jake to see the good in him and for their relationship to be strengthened and I believe it has been. Another of one my pleas answered.  A part of me wants to have each Sunday feel as good as the last two, maybe I should work on preparing my heart more on Sundays to be more edified weekly.  My girls also came with me this Sunday to support their brothers and I loved that too!
