Almost Spring

Our winter has been unusually warm but enjoyable.  I have decided that the older my sweet little get the busier our little family becomes.  Ginny is caught up in softball practice preparing for her season and Aubree is busy practicing for her play. The boys, well the are just the boys. Will definitely gives me a run for my money.  Everyday I give it my all at this mom thing and trying to teach my sweethearts to make right, kind, or wise decisions and for some reason, he struggles.  It seems that his eyes are sad often and it makes me sad.  There is nothing that I would not do for my children that is within my power. They and Jake are my motivation for all that I do and the reason I try so hard to make a little extra income so they can enjoy things. Growing up, my family did not have much as far as monetary things but our needs were met and we had parents who cared.  Speaking of trying to make extra money,  as we know, I signed up and invested right about $10,000 into LulaRoe and my inventory arrived in January. It is with a great sigh of relief that I can say that I broke even this weekend. My mom and sisters helped out so much and are a large factor of that. Jake is also super patient as people come and go looking at inventory and shopping.  This past weekend I did a morning party at my moms and then an evening one at Sandra's in Paris TN.  It was a long day, leaving at 7:00a.m and not getting home until 11:00pm but when I came home, I was greeted with a crisp maintained yard and a clean house.  You could smell the clean as you walked in. Jake and the kids worked hard to do those kind gestures for me.  It truly is the small things that count and are the big things to someone else. My parents celebrated their 40 year anniversary on Sunday, march 5th. They have not always had the best or an easy marriage but they have taught me about love, forgiveness, and perseverance through their marriage.  It can be said they really are better and stronger now than ever before.
