Happy Fall Break

Fall break began today officially for our crew. However, Jake and out three oldest kiddos left for Houston early Saturday morning so dad could spend some time with his brothers.  He and Ginny attended an Astros's game with them that afternoon.  Christopher stayed home with his momma and we began putting out our Halloween decor before general conference and Sunday we visited Jackson to see dad and my sisters.  Sunday evening, Christopher got sick and it has now been 24 hours and he's still not well.  We watched Charity's kids today but he spent most of the day sleeping. No mother likes to see their babies not feeling well.

Last Thursday, I took the boys to one of our school football games.  Christopher came out of his room with lynx paws stamped all across his forehead, it took quite a bit of alcohol to get it off.  Will and Christopher auditioned for choir earlier last week and made it.  Both were happy and Christopher's teacher sent home a photo to celebrate.  He has been singing You are My Sunshine non stop.  He has a sweet little voice and tries so hard.  We have increased his speech to five days a week. After speaking with his teachers and speech therapist, we feel that is most beneficial for him at this stage in his life. it is unfortunate that he will miss more of core content classes at school but he is aware of his speech issues and the older he gets the more collaboration occurs.  Jake and I can keep his academics afloat.  Will, now Will, has the voice of an angel.  He sings beautifully!  His favorite song to sing is Radioactive but he can sing it as often as he'd like, he sounds so good.
