Thanksgiving in Texas

This year we spent Thanksgiving in Houston at Chris and Crystal's house. It was originally just a few of us but all the siblings came and Jake's parents too. It was nice. Here are a few of my favorite memories...

All I can say is I love my little monkeys....they are my everything. 

Discouraged but hopeful

Recently, I applied for another job at work. I was afforded an interview out of over 60 applicants, however I was not chosen for the position of the 18 interviewed. I am grateful for the interview and really wanted the job but figure The Lord knows the bigger picture and maybe it wasn't for our family. I am trusting in Him the best I can. However rejection is never easy and tripling my income would've been nice. 

On another note, jake came hone tonight and told me that he can't explain the difference from reading the Book of Mormon before work as opposed to in the evening but he says there's an amazing difference on how his days go.  While things may not be working out how I would've hoped, life is good. I have picked up more real estate as well.
