Summer vacation 2016

I'm Our family has decided to take a road trip  for vacation this year to Yellowstone and making various stops along the way. It began on Saturday, June 11 picking Ginny up from EFY in Denton TX. We drove that evening to Amarillo TX for the night and the next day to Colorado Springs, Colarado. On the drive to Colorado we stopped at Capulin Volcano in New Mexico and spent a little time. The next day we spent playing at Garden of Gods in Colorado Springs and that evening took a cog train to Pikes Peak to enjoy hot chocolate and warm donuts. The next morning (6-14), we drive to Rawlins, WY for the evening. On the way we stopped at a dinosaur fossil exhibit and the Air Force Academy. Stopping by the Air Force Academy brought Papaw strongly to memory because of his service in Air Force. He loved and served our country and proudly sported Air Force hats often. Chris, Chyna, and Braden were with us from Amarillo to Rawlins, Wyoming. We departed ways until Saturday evening on Wednesday morning and we headed to Boise, Idago to spend a little time with James and his family. On the way to Idaho, we stopped in Salt Lake City and took the kids to temple square and the conference center. Thus far it has been a nice little vacation.
